It sucks, but in a good way
No issues at all with this product, it works great. Like others, it doesn't adhere to the dash, but I wanted to suction it to the windshield anyways. Over 6 months in use, consistently removing and re-attaching, still works like day one.
Great magellan dash mount
This is a high quality sturdy magellan gps mount. Works well as a windshield or dash mount. I use it with a beanbag type friction dash pad (Brackertron, I believe)and the combination works very well. The reviews on Amazon helped me a lot. After using all the flimsy products that break after a few times, I am happy with this purchase.
Not compatible
The list includes Roadmate 1200 as one of the models this mount is compatible to and is NOT true! It is not compatible if it does not come with the cradle that holds the mount and the GPS unit together. Waste of time and money. Why sell half a product? The mount should include the piece that allows you to connect it to the actual GPS! HORRIBLE SELLER!!! Will not buy from them again.
Only worked for 3 months
At first I was thrilled with this mount- it is tons better than the one which came with the unit. I bought it in June and by September the suction cup no longer suctions to the windshield. I cannot understand how it would lose suction, but I tried everything.

Does not work with The 4040 unit. Do not watse your money on this product.
